My Sweet Little Girls
Mood:
special
Now Playing: Where has the time gone?????
I'm utterly amazed. My "babies" are growing up. Breanna got to have lunch for the first time in the cafeteria. This is a clear indication that she is about to graduate from Kindergarten....Only they don't do that anymore.
Kaila is staring at herself more and more in the mirror...What does she see? I think she notices the changes that are taking place in her face. Uh-Oh! The next step is the closet overhaul.
Emily is talking up a storm, and sharing her views on life with anyone who will listen to her.
Wow, life is good!

We moved!
Mood:
don't ask
Topic: Moved from Blogspot
Well! I had this great blog entry that was truly one of my bests. But Blogspot ate half of it. Honestly, it wasn't really all that user friendly, especially for the computer illiterate. Which I am! Go figure, Hubby has a Batchelors degree in Computer Science, and I should work for Microsoft...As a software tester. Seriously, I can mess up any program, including those that are error proof. I call it a gift. :-P
So on this beautiful Saturday afternoon, I have chosen to sit here in my cute little office and start a new Blog. Emily's on my lap cheerfully eating as many Hershey's Kisses as she can consume while Kaila and Breanna are playing the PS2 with Scott.
I just got off the phone with my new bank. I got this free checking account last Monday, and received my checks yesterday. It was like Christmas! They're those type that have the carbon copy under the check, so when I forget who I wrote the check to, and when, I have a back up! I was so eager to get my ATM card so I could sign up with their online banking. I stupidly already linked my Paypal account to this new checking account, and tried to get it verified. Well, if you don't know the amount of money that Paypal sends to your account TWICE, you can't get verified. So you can see why I was eager to get my ATM card.
I got the ATM card this afternoon. To my suprise they sent it to me with my maiden name engraved on the card. How in the heck did they get my maiden name? I haven't used that name in over 7 years! I never added that name to my account, my checks have my married name. I don't hyphenate my last name, so this maiden name should be dead and gone. But there it is looking pretty on this new clean sparkly card staring me in the face, taunting me, telling me in it's devil tone "Hahahaha! You thought you were rid of me! Well guess what? Now you have to call the bank, be polite and ask for new cards! And if that isn't bad enough, you have to wait a whole 'nuther week to get them! Hahahaha! You can't access your account online!"
Normally this wouldn't be such a big deal...But People, Ebay auctions are closing with my name as the high bidder! I need to see my account, and make sure that they all get paid! I'm crazy in that sense. I like to see money come and money go. Well, I like watching money come more than watch it go, but still.
SO I got on the phone, and Jack answered in such a sweet innocent voice. I told him (NICELY) what the problem was, and even added a cute little "I'm really upset about this." at the end of my story. Sweet Jack appologized, and got to work on my account to figure out where the ball was dropped. He also felt obligated to tell me that the branch was closed, and that he was the only one there, and had just happened to be there after hours. Okay Jack, thanks for telling me. Good thing I'm not completely nuts and planning on robbing the bank!
He couldn't figure out why my maiden name was on the cards. He couldn't find anything in their system that links my married name to my maiden name. (Oh and by the way, Jack's wife had a great grandmother with the same last name as my maiden name...Wow. Okay so it's like the 5th most popular name in America.) So, I should have my cards in about a week...A WEEK!
It's just funny. Things like this are a common occurance in my life. Really weird unexplainable things happen to me a lot. It's just bizaare, but it keeps life interresting!
I think I'll go see what my hubby and girls are up to now that Emily got her fill of Hershey's Kisses. Have a great rest of your weekend!
